Marienbad EV charging station for electric cars is located only 100 m from the Marienbad Apartment and is only a 2-minute walk away from our apartments. Clean energy belongs to spa town, and we are very pleased that spa guests can take an advantage of such option near our accommodation.
These two power stations are part of the network of CEZ (electricity producer in the Czech Republic) charging stations and the Europe-wide program “Connecting Europe Facility (CEF)”. EV stations Mariánské Lázně are equipped with DC connectors with charging standards CHAdeMO and CCS and AC charging with Mennekes plug. Thanks to DC connectors it allows to recharge 80 of the battery in less than half an hour.
There is a monthly fee for e-car owners in Czech Republic, but tourists can use the mobile app to pay per each recharge. Mariánské Lázně charging station is linked to “Polyfyzer Direct” application – instructions & application.

Another option of charging an electric car in Marianske Lazne is to use the charging station in the hotel Falkensteiner. Hotel parking fee has to be paid, approx. 285, – CZK / night (11,- €). In that case it is the charging free.
Marienbad EV charging station is also officially listed on Google maps. In the past, Google added the official keyword “charging station” to the search. This will show a pin with a special icon on your maps. Google also displays details about each charging station. It is included in the list of electric stations throughout Europe and as part of the Connecting Europe Facility, it can be also found in various mobile applications, maps and internet presentations focused on electromobility.
